Golf has always carried a particular romance — the hush of Augusta in April, the long shadows of a links at dusk, the ceremony of a round played with intention. Club Varden was built on the belief that the clothes worn on that course should hold the same weight. We built the brand, designed the collection, and gave it a home worthy of both.

A brand for those who play with intent

Club Varden was founded for a generation that came to golf with fresh eyes and without inherited deference. They understood the history, wore it lightly, and expected the same from what they put on. They wanted something made with the craft of the old guard and none of its stiffness.

Our work spanned the full brand: identity and positioning, garment design, campaign direction, and a digital experience built to sit alongside the most considered luxury houses in the world. Nothing was treated as secondary. Every element was held to the same standard as the clothes themselves.

Designing the Clothes

Material considered, cut perfected

The garments were designed to perform at the highest level without announcing the fact. Performance fabric sourced from Italian mills, cut with the proportions of tailoring rather than sportswear. A polo that sits correctly whether you are standing over a drive or standing at the bar afterwards.

Each piece was resolved through multiple fittings and on-course wear trials. The weight of a collar, the fall of a sleeve at address, the placement of the chest badge — nothing deferred to convention. The result is a range that feels as though it has always existed. It hadn't, until now.

A Youthful Approach to Golf

New energy, earned authority

Golf is the fastest-growing sport among under-35s in the world. That generation arrived without the old hierarchies and without patience for brands that mistake tradition for inertia. Club Varden was built to meet them on the course, not escort them to it.

Campaign photography was shot on location at dusk and dawn — real light, real courses, players mid-swing and mid-stride. The images place Club Varden firmly inside golf's visual tradition while giving it a temperature the category has not had before. The tone of voice is spare and self-assured. Nothing explained, nothing over-stated.

A digital house for a considered brand

At this level of the market, a website is not a shop. It is a statement of intention. We designed every interaction to slow the visitor down: editorial full-bleed imagery drawn from on-course campaign production, generous white space, and product pages that read like catalogue entries from a house that knows its own worth.

Fabric information, care notes, and sizing guidance are given as much presence as price. The collection architecture maps directly to how Club Varden thinks about its range — The Members Round for the everyday game, The Invitationals for the occasion. The checkout is frictionless. The whole experience is designed to feel like a privilege to use — because at this level, it should.
